Basic Operating Instructions for ART1 Clock Radio

What are the controls and indicators to my ART1 Clock Radio?

Functions: 

  1. Rotary Encoder: Turn clockwise for next or counterclockwise for previous.
  2. OLED Display: View clock and selected function information.
  3. Speaker Cover for iPod Docking Station: Lift to reveal the iPod docking connector.
  4. MEM: Press to store favorite stations. In iPod mode, press to return to the previous menu level.
  5. TUNE-: Tune the frequency down. Press and hold to search downward for available stations automatically. In iPod mode, press for previous track; press and hold for rewind.
  6. TUNE+: Tune the frequency up. Press and hold to search upward for available stations automatically. In iPod mode, press for next track; press and hold for fast forward.
  7. Power/VOLUME: Press to turn the unit on/off. Turn to adjust the volume level from 0 (lowest) to 64 (highest).
  8. Select Controller: Turn to the left to set Alarm 1 or to the right to set Alarm 2. Return to the center position before attempting to play music.
  9. OK: Press to confirm selection. In iPod mode, press to go to the next menu level.
  10. NAP: Press to enter the Nap mode.
  11. Alarm 1: Turn Alarm 1 on/off.
  12. MENU: Press to access system control menu. Use the rotary controller and OK button to select/modify menu options.
  13. Alarm 2: Turn Alarm 2 on/off.
  14. SLEEP: Press to enter Sleep mode.
  15. Mute/Snooze: In alarm mode, touch the top of the wooden cabinet on the left or right side to enter Snooze mode. During any other mode, press the top of the cabinet to Mute the sound. Press again to resume the previous audio level.

Functions:

  • AUX IN: Connect optional auxiliary equipment to this 3.5mm analog stereo input connector.
  • TIME SET: Press to begin the Set Clock function.
  • FM ANTENNA: Connect and FM antenna to the 75 Ohm F-connector.
  • EXTERNAL AM ANTENNA: Use to connect a 300 Ohm AM loop antenna.

What are the basic operations of my ART1 Clock Radio?

Basic Operations:

Power/Standby Mode: When the unit is plugged in it automatically assumes standby mode, with the clock displayed. Press the power button on the top of the radio to turn the radio on.
