Clock, Projector, Radio, Sleep and Line-In Functions for the RCA RC124 Projector Clock Radio

Clock Radio 

“Are you observing daylight savings time at this moment? If so, first see “Select daylight saving” section below.

Set clock manually:

1. Press and hold MODE until the year flashes on the display.
2. Press / to set the value. The value increases or decreases quickly when you press and hold the button.
3. Press MODE to confirm. Repeat step 2 to set month, day, 12H/24H, hour and minute.
4. To save and exit the date and time setting mode, press MODE.

Select daylight saving: This convenient feature provides a simple way to change your clock when daylight savings time starts or ends.

1. Press and hold to toggle between daylight saving on and off.
2. A shows on the display when you turn on the daylight saving time.

View date:

• To view the year, press . Wait for about 5 seconds or press to return to clock mode.
• To view month and day, press. Wait for about 5 seconds or press to return to clock mode.

Wake Function

Set wake time:

1. Press and hold AL. TIME until the hour of alarm 1 flashes and lights on the display.
2. Press / to set the value. The value increases or decreases quickly when you press and hold the button.
3. Press AL. TIME to confirm and move to minute.
4. Press / to set the value. The value increases or decreases quickly when you press and hold the button.
5. Press AL. TIME to confirm. Press / to select weekday settings.
6. Press AL. TIME to confirm. Hour of alarm 2 will fl ash and will light on the display. Repeat step 2 to 5 to set alarm 2.
7. To view alarm 1 time or alarm 2 time, press AL. TIME.

Select the wake source: You may wake to the radio or buzzer.

1. Set a wake time (refer to the above instructions).
2. Press AL. 1 or AL. 2 to select wake by radio or wake by buzzer.

Disable the wake function: Press AL. 1 or AL. 2 until no corresponding wake icon ( 1, 2, 1, 2) shows on the display.

Stop the Alarm Sounding:

• To silence the wake function momentarily: Press SNOOZE/SLEEP. The wake icon ( 1, 2, 1 or 2) will flash and the alarm will sound again when the snooze period (9 minutes) is over. Snooze function can be used repeatedly up to 30 minutes. After this, the wake function will turn off until the next day.
• To stop the wake function: Press , AL. 1 or AL. 2 . The alarm will be on again the following day or the next week, depends on the alarm weekday settings.

Sleep Function

To set the sleep time:

1. When listening to radio, press SNOOZE/SLEEP repeatedly to cycle among the sleep time available (90min, 60min, 30min and 15min). When you first set the sleep time, the sleep time is default to 90 min.
2. When the desired sleep time is selected, release SLEEP and wait for about 5 seconds, the sleep time is now set. The icon SLP lights on the display.
