Using the Sleep and Nap Functions on the RCA RPC100 Clock Radio
Sleep Function
You can set the radio to play for a set length of time (up to 90 min) before turning off automatically. Press SLEEP repeatedly to select a duration (90, 60, 30, 15 min or OFF) before the radio turns off automatically.
• To check the remaining duration before the unit turns off , press SLEEP once.
• To cancel the sleep function, press SNOOZE/LIGHT or OFF.
- The default sleep time is 90 minutes.
- The radio will be switched on once SLEEP is pressed.
- If you set Sleep function with low volume level before going to bed, we advise using the Wake to Alarm mode.
Nap Function
For catnaps up to 2 hours without disturbing the regular wake function settings. The NAP function wakes you up after a set length of time.
1. Press NAP repeatedly to cycle among the NAP time available (10 min, 20min, 30min, 60min, 90min and OFF; 20min is the default setting).
- The NAP icon fl ashes on the display while adjusting.
2. When the desired NAP time is selected, release NAP and wait for about 5 seconds, the NAP time is now set.
- The icon NAP lights on the display.
Press NAP once to show briefly the NAP time left.
Only alarm tone can be used with the NAP function.
Press OFF to cancel the NAP alarm, or press and hold NAP until the NAP icon no longer shows on the display to cancel the NAP function.
