Operation of the RCA eMusic1 MP3 Digital Player

Menu Function: 

To operate the Menus:

1. Briefly press the M button to enter the Menu.
2. Press >> or << to select between the above functions.
3. Press M to confirm your choice.

Note: Apart from the recording mode that denies access to menu options, you can make your setting in play, pause or stop mode. The digital player will return to play mode (the last setting mode) automatically if idle for 10 seconds in this selection.

Music Mode:

This is the default mode of the digital player. You can play MP3 or WMA music files under this mode. You can also operate the songs with functions of REW, FF, Volume Adjustment, Equalizer, Repeat and Shuffle.

Play/Pause/Stop:

1. Press Play once to play music.
2. Press Play again to pause, press again to resume.
3. Press and hold Play to enter the stop mode, press once to resume play mode.

Last Song/Next Song:

1. Press Next to skip to the next song.
2. Press Previous to go back to the last song (or after 4 seconds of playback, press Previous to reverse to the beginning of the current file).

Rewind/Fast Forward:

1. Press and hold Next to fast forward.
2. Press and hold Previous to rewind.

Vol+/Vol-:

1. Press Vol+ to increase the volume level during play or pause mode.
2. Press Vol- to decrease the volume level during play or pause mode.

Repeat A-B:

1. Under music/voice mode, while the player is in play or pause mode, you can press the REC button to select point A, press again to select point B. The the segment from A to B will play continuously.
2. By pressing A-B/REC repeatedly you can switch between point A and point B and also cancel the setting.

Note: In the stop mode, the A-B repeat function does not work.

Repeat:

1. Press and hold M repeatedly during playback to switch among Repeat One, Repeat All, Shuffle and Shuffle Repeat.

Equalizer:

1. Under music or voice mode, press and hold REC to select between the equalizer modes: Flat, Bass, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop or Custom.

Voice Mode:

Under voice mode, you can select Play/Record/Repeat/A-B/Rew/FF/Vol+/Vol-/EQ setting.

Recording:

1. Press REC to start recording.
2. Press REC again to stop recording.

2. Press Play again to pause, press again to resume.
3. Press and hold Play to enter the stop mode, press once to resume play mode.

Rewind/Fast Forward:

1. Press and hold Next to fast forward.
2. Press and hold Previous to rewind.
