1. Go to XM Direct Download Page and download the application.
2. Install the application as directed in the exact steps listed on the Audiovox page.
3. Connect the CNP2000 Programmable Interface Adapter (PIA) via USB. At this time the windows new found hardware wizard should run. Follow the onscreen prompts. In most cases this will not occur successfully.
4. After the wizard fails to install the PIA device driver go to the Device Manager by clicking
START >> Right Click MY COMPUTER>> Right Click "MANAGE" >> Left Click "Device Manager".
If "XM Universal Board v3" appears under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" the driver is successfully installed. If not the device will look like "Other devices" below:

5. Right click on the USB device and click "UPDATE DRIVER". Manually choose the location for the Device
driver as shown on the web application instructions from the Audiovox webpage. (example below)
6. Complete installation as shown in the Audiovox directions noted above.
