The 360fly Android app requires hardware with a 4k compatible display and Android Version 4.4 or later to function (Facebook Live compatibility requires Android 5 or later).
Note: Devices running Android 8 will work with the 360fly 4K, but there is a Bluetooth bug in that operating system that is currently causing compatibility problems with 360fly HD models (for more information, see https://forums.360fly.com/t/hd-will-not-pair-with-pixel-xl-android-8-0-0/3569/2)
The following devices are suggested for use with your 360fly as each device on this list has been tested by 360fly Engineers (We cannot guarantee compatibility with any devices not included on this list):
- HTC: M8, M9, A9
- LG: G3, G4, G5, G6 Flex 2, Nexus 5
- Motorola: Moto X 2nd Gen, Nexus 6, Droid Turbo/2, Moto Pure, Moto Z, Moto Z Play**, Droid Z

- Sony: Xperia Z3
- Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Pixel/XL, Pixel 2/XL
*Devices with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and 7.0 (Nougat) require firmware 1.3.3 or later on 360fly HD model cameras (NOT 4K models) to be compatible. **Motorola smartphones, not included on this list, with 1920 x 1080 displays (such as a Moto G5) will cause a large green distortion during playback. These devices are NOT considered compatible.
If your smartphone is not on the above list, and you want to test its compatibility, please follow these steps:
1- Make sure your 360fly is turned OFF.
2- Open the 360fly app, and navigate to the "HOME" screen."
3- Tap on the settings icon in the upper right corner.
4- At the very bottom of the settings menu is an option called "Mobile Device Probing" (see attached image). Select this option for a compatibility report.
