Troubleshooting the Audiovox CE265 Clock Radio
Why does the CE265 System not turn on?	Make sure the STANDBY button is set to ON. Make sure press the FUNCTION button to CD mode.
What do I do if disc in place but CE265 unit won't play?	Make sure disc is clean and undamaged. Make sure printed side of disc is facing up. Make sure PAUSE mode is not activated.
Why is there poor FM reception on the CE265?	Make sure FM antenna wire is fully extended. Electrical interference in your home can cause poor reception. Move the unit away from them (especially those with motors and transformers).
Why is there poor AM reception on the CE265?	Rotate the unit horizontally
Why does the clock does not show the correct time or the alarm does not come on at the preset time on the CE265?	There has been an electrical power interruption. To turn on the TUNER, CD or BUZZER alarm, check the following points: Is the current time correctly set on the time display? Check the AM/PM indication. Is the alarm time correctly set? Check the AM/PM indication. Is the desired station tuned in?
What should I do if there is condensation formed on the lens on CE265?	Temperature changes can cause this to happen. Open up the disc department and leave it open without the disc in it for an hour.
How can I clean the CE265?	Do not use volatile chemicals on your unit. Clean by lightly wiping with a soft cloth.
What should I do if the clock is not displaying the correct time CE265?	There may have been an electrical power interruption which can cause your unit to turn off and then back on again. A good way to show an indication of this is if your clock is flashing on and off.
