Why won't the disc play on my VOD10PS2?	Insert a disc with the label side facing up. Check the type of disc you put into disc tray. This PS2 only plays PS2 Games, DVDs and audio CDs. Both the unit and the disc are coded by region. If the regional codes don't match, the disc can't be played. Make sure the screen source is set to PS2. Note: This DVD player is set to Region Number 1.
Why did my VOD10PS2 suddenly stop or cause the LCD screen to go black?	Turn the player OFF and then back ON. If the player still does not respond, press the reset button.
Why is the picture distorted or skipping occasionally on my VOD10PS2?	The disc may be dirty or scratched. Try cleaning or replacing the disc. Note: It is normal for some distortion to appear during forward and reverse scan.
Why can't I fast forward or advance through a movie on my VOD10PS2?	You cannot advance through the opening credits and warning information that appears at the beginning of many movies because the disc is programmed to prohibit that action by the distributor.
Why is the picture dark on the LCD screen of my VOD10PS2?	The equipment may be located in a low temperature area. If this is the case, the LCD display will restore to normal brightness after playing for a few minutes. You may also need to adjust the Brightness setting, as it could be set too low.
Why isn't the IR remote to my VOD10PS2 working?	Verify that the batteries in the remote are fresh. Verify that the remote sensor eye is not obstructed.
Why is there no sound or distorted sound coming from my VOD10PS2?	Make sure your DVD is connected properly. Make sure all cables are securely inserted into the appropriate jacks. If you are using headphones, make sure that they are single or dual channel headphones and that they are set to channel A. For wireless headphones, make sure the batteries are fresh. Make sure the Modulator is ON and the proper Frequency has been selected.
Why does play start, but then stop immediately on my VOD10PS2?	Be sure the disc is clean before inserting it in the player. If condensation has formed in the player, allow it time to dry out.
Why is there power, but no video or sound coming from my VOD10PS2?	Verify that the correct source is selected (i.e. PS2, AV1 or AUX). Verify that the source is on and playing a known good media (such as a DVD).
Why is there a picture on the screen, but no sound is being produced from the IR headphones that go to my VOD10PS2?	Verify that the headphones are turned on. Consider replacing the batteries to the headphones if they are old or weak. Make sure the FM modulator and the vehicle radio are set to the same FM station.
Why can't I fast forward or fast reverse scan on my VOD10PS2?	Some discs have sections that prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter skip. If you try to skip through the warning information and credits at the beginning of a movie, you won't be able to. This part of the movie is often programmed to prohibit this action.
What does the not allowed icon mean that appears on the screen of my VOD10PS2?	The feature or action may not be completed at this time because of one of the following reasons: The disc's software restricts it. The disc's software doesn't support the feature (i.e. angles). The feature is not available at the moment. You have requested a title or chapter number that is out of range.
Why do I hear static or have poor sound quality on my VOD10PS2?	In certain areas where there are a large number of FM radio stations (i.e. large cities, urban areas), the reception of the FM signal from the overhead pod may not be satisfactory, resulting in static, distorted sound or signal bleed through from strong local radio stations. This is not a defect in the product, but the result of a stronger local radio station overpowering the wireless FM transmitter in your overhead pod.
