Why is the turn-on volume so loud on the ADVUV630? |
To change the start-up or turn-on volume:
With the unit turned ON, set the volume to the desired turn on level. While the numerical volume level is displayed onscreen, press and hold the volume control knob IN for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep after 2 seconds, continue to hold for the FULL 3 seconds. This procedure sets the start-up volume. Example, if you had set the volume level to 12, then the next time you turn the unit ON, the volume level will be set at 12. When testing this feature you must allow the unit to fully power-down. This will depend on the vehicle being equipped with a retained ignition feature or not (turning the key OFF and the radio remaining ON until the driver's door is opened is retained ignition). It would be best to wait one minute before verifying the new setting.

Why can't I synch my phonebook with my ADVUV630 using Bluetooth? |
The phone controls what information is shared via Bluetooth. Some phones will share entire phone books, while others will only show up to a designated amount, or none at all.
There is an alternate method that you can try though Audiovox will not be able to support the alternate method if they do NOT work due to telephone restrictions.
First, update the phone to the latest available firmware. Check with the phone manufacturer if you are unsure on the update procedure.
Second, reboot the radio. Just below the volume knob, there is a door that covers the SD and USB inputs. Open the door and locate the reset button. It is a small button about the size of a pencil tip. Push and hold the button in for 10 seconds, then release. This will reboot the radio.
Third, try pairing up the phone and syncing the phone book.
Remember: the phone controls what information is shared via Bluetooth.

How do Itroubleshootthe NAV/GPS feature on my ADVUV630? |
The First thing to try is to reseat the micro SD card that contains the navigation software.
The SD card is located behind an access door on the top right of the face of the radio.
Second, conduct a hard reset on your radio. There is a small pushbutton located behind the door that covers the aux input (below the volume knob). Press and hold the reset button in for 15-30 seconds, then release. Turn the radio back on and see if the navigation source has returned.
