Playing Files on the RCA M6204 MP3 Player

Music

The player sorts your music files by track name (title), artist, album and genre.

1. In the Home menu, press + or – and << or >> to navigate to Music. Note: In other playback modes, press and hold the Return button to return to the Home menu.
2. Press Play/Pause to enter Music mode.
3. Use + or – and << or >> to navigate through the menus and highlight the desired item, then press >> or Play/Pause to start listening.

Music Playback Controls:

* Press within the beginning 4 seconds of the current music file to skip to previous file. Otherwise, you will return to the beginning of the current file.

Option menu (music playback): Press Option Menu at the playback (Now playing) screen to show the Option menu. Press + or – to highlight an option and then press Play/Pause to confirm the selection or change the setting.

The following options are available:

• Add to Favorites – to add the current file in the Favorites playlist. If the file is already in the playlist, this option changes to Remove from Favorites to remove the current file from the playlist.
• Repeat – press Play/Pause repeatedly to select repeat current or all files (corresponding icon shows on the display).
• Shuffle – to play randomly when shuffle is activated.
  Album Art – Toggles album art display.
• Equalizer – to select an equalizer mode. Options available: Flat, Bass, Pop, Rock and Jazz.
• Delete – to remove current file from the player.

Audible

Audible playback is similar to music playback.

1. In the Home menu, press + or – and << or >> to navigate to Audible. Note: In other playback modes, press and hold the Return button to return to the Home menu.
2. Press Play/Pause to enter Audible mode.
3. Use + or – and << or >> to navigate through the menus and highlight the desired item, then press >> or Play/Pause to start listening.

Audible Playback Controls:

Option menu (Audible playback): Press Play/Pause at the playback (Now Playing) screen to pause the playback and press to show the Option menu. Press + or – to highlight an option and then press Play/Pause to confirm the selection or change the setting.
