Operating Instructions for Prestige XR6900 Remote Start System
Keyless Entry:

To lock your vehicle:

  1. Exit the vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Press the lock button.

To unlock your vehicle: 

  1. Press the unlock button.

As a keyless entry unit, the parking lights will flash once when the doors are locked and twice when the doors are unlocked.

Holding the lock/unlock buttons for 3 seconds will activate the car finder mode causing the parking lights to flash and the optional horn to beep for 30 seconds or until the button is activated again for 3 seconds or any other button is operated.
Additional Remote Function (Channel 3):

This security system has an additional feature that can be connected to a number of different optional accessories. Some of the more common uses for this channel are:

  • Remote Trunk Release
  • Remote Window Closure
  • Remote Garage Door Interface

To activate the optional accessory:

  1. Press and hold the trunk/key button for 4 seconds.
Additional Remote Function (Channel 4):

This security system has an additional feature that can be connected to a number of different optional accessories. Some of the more common uses for this channel are:

  • Rear Window Defogger during Remote Start if vehicle is so equipped.
  • Remote Window Closure
  • Rear Hatch Release
  • Right or Left Slider Doors in an equipped van

To activate the optional accessory:

  1. Press the option button on the transmitter. The optional accessory will immediately engage.

This security system has an additional feature that can be connected to a number of different optional accessories. Some of the more common uses for this channel are:

  • Remote Trunk Release
  • Remote Window Closure
  • Rear Hatch Release
  • Right or Left Slider Doors in an equipped van

To activate the optional accessory:

  1. Press the option button on the transmitter. The optional accessory will immediately engage.

This security system has an additional feature that can be connected to a number of different optional accessories. Some of the more common uses for this channel are:

  • Rear Hatch Release
  • Right or Left Slider Doors in an equipped van
  • Driver Priority Settings in vehicles so equipped
  • Second Driver Priority Settings in vehicles so equipped

To activate the optional accessory:

  1. Press the option butt
