Why is there no power to my D1730?	Make sure the On/Off Switch is in the On position. Make sure your DVD is connected properly. Make sure all cables are securely inserted into the appropriate jacks.
Why isn't an image appearing on the screen of my D1730?	Check if the unit is connected securely. Make sure you operate the TV correctly. Make sure you set the color system correctly.
Why is there bad sound quality on my D1730?	Make sure the audio output mode is set correctly. Make sure the audio connection between the unit and amplifier is right.
Why won't a disc play in my D1730?	There is no disc in the unit. Put the disc on the disc tray properly with the label side up. Clean the disc. Moisture has condensed in the unit. Remove the disc and leave the unit on for about one hour.
Why won't the remote control to my D1730 work?	Remove barriers between the remote control and the unit. Point the remote control at the remote control sensor of the unit. Replace the batteries with new ones.
Why is the image rolling with no color on my D1730?	The color system of the unit doesn't match with that of TV. Please select the correct TV TYPE until TV shows normal color.
Why is there no sound or distorted sound on my D1730?	Make sure your DVD is connected properly. Make sure all cables are securely inserted into the appropriate jacks. Be sure that the systems settings are correct and that the volume is turned up. The sound system of the DVD also needs to be set up correctly. The disc cannot be dirty or warped. If so, you need to replace it. Also, if there are headphones connected to the headphone jack, these need to be removed.
Why is my D1730 getting warm?	The unit will become warm when it is used for a long period of time. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the unit.
How do I clean the D1730?	When cleaning, make sure the system is unplugged from the power source. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a cloth lightly dampened with water or one of our Surface Clean products for cleaning the exterior of the system only.
What is the default password for my D1730?	The password is automatically factory set to 99999.
