How do I turn my JMV12 Mobile DVD Player on or off? |

What are the different source features for my JMV12 Mobile DVD Player? |
DVD: The DVD input may be selected to operate in DVD mode and watch DVD's. To access the DVD input, turn the JMV12 on and press the remote control until "DVD" is displayed on the screen. AV1: The video input may be connected to a Video Cassette Player (VCP), video game system, or other audio / video devices. To access the A/V inputs, turn the unit on and press the source button on the unit or the remote control until "AV1" is displayed on the screen. Turn the video source component on with its power button or remote control. The unit is now ready to play the audio and video signals from the source connected to AV1 input (optional accessory cable part number 8010730 required). AUX/Game Source: The unit will accept audio / video input through the 3 RCA jacks located on the rear of the unit. The audio / video device could be a video game system, video camera, or other input device. (NOTE: the AUX/Game input is a shared input (Priority AUX) when an AUX input is connected it will automatically disable the game input.) AV2 or TV (Optional): The video input may be connected to a Video Cassette Player (VCP), Video Game System, or other audio/video device. To access the A/V inputs, turn the unit on and press the source button on the unit or the remote control until AV2 is displayed on the screen. (NOTE: If the optional TV tuner (PODTVT2) is installed, the AV2 input becomes inactive.) Video Out: This unit provides a video output for optional video monitor(s). This output will provide a video signal that duplicates the signal displayed by the unit to an additional monitor or video display. Please see your installer for more information. |

| What does regional coding mean on my JMV12 Mobile DVD Player? | Both the DVD player and DVD's are coded by region. These regional codes must match in order for the discs to play. If the codes don't match, the DVD won't play. This unit's code is region 1. Other regional codes cannot be played in this unit. The unit will display "WRONG REGION". | |
| How do I play MP3 discs on my JMV12 Mobile DVD Player? |
This player can play CD-R/RW discs that contain music MP3 files. When a MP3 disc is inserted into the player, the menu screen appears automatically. You can use the menu screen to select the folders and tracks you want, or the player plays the track in the order they were burned onto the disc. To select the folders and tracks you want:

How do you get a DVD to restart at the point you stopped at before turning off the car when using with my JMV12 Mobile DVD Player? |
Upon installation, make sure that the "constant" power wire is connected to the battery, this will allow the overhead or headrest system to retain minimal power so that the memory will remember at what point the DVD was stopped. |
