How do I turn my AVD400 DVD Player on or off?
  1. Pressing the power button on the unit or the remote control will turn the system on and off.

  • DVD discs - DVD discs which contain video.
  • Audio discs - Audio CDs contain musical or sound content only.
  • MP3 discs - A disc that contains audio files (for example, a CD-R with downloaded MP3 files).
  • VCD discs - Compact discs which contain video.
  • JPEG CD-R discs - Discs which were recorded with photos.

How do I load and play a disc on my AVD400 DVD Player?
  1. Press the Power button to turn the unit ON.
  2. Insert the disc (label facing up) into the disc compartment.
  3. Playback will start automatically.
How do I change the display on my AVD400 DVD Player?

Display Contents Vary from disc to disc.

  1. During playback press DISPLAY to display the current title elapsed time and the remaining time of the title.
  2. Press DISPLAY again to display the current disc playback information.
  3. Press DISPLAY again to remove the display.

When playing an audio CD, the DISPLAY Banner appears automatically. It displays the current disc playback information. Press DISPLAY to remove the information display.
How do I change the Angle on my AVD400 DVD Player?
  1. During playback, press ANGLE to change the current angle of discs containing multi-angles. If the disc has only one angle, you will see the "not allowed" icon on the screen.
