Operating Instructions for AVD300 DVD Player

How do I turn my AVD300 DVD Player on or off?
  1. Pressing the power button on the unit or the remote control will turn the system on and off. 

What type of discs will my AVD300 DVD Player play?
  • DVD discs - DVD discs which contain video.
  • Audio discs - Audio CDs contain musical or sound content only.
  • MP3 discs - A disc that contains audio files (for example, a CD-R with downloaded MP3 files).

How do I load and play a disc on my AVD300 DVD Player?
  1. Press the Power button to turn the unit ON.
  2. Insert the disc (label facing up) into the disc compartment.
  3. Playback will start automatically.
How do I change the display on my AVD300 DVD Player?

Display Contents Vary from disc to disc.

  1. During playback press DISPLAY to display the current Title Number, the total Number of Titles, the current Chapter Number, the total Number of Chapters, and the Playing Time for the title. The heading will disappear automatically after 3 seconds if no buttons are pressed.
  2. Press DISPLAY again to display the Remaining Time of the title.
  3. Press DISPLAY the third time to display the Elapsed Time for the Chapter.
  4. Press DISPLAY the fourth time to display the Remaining Time for the chapter.
  5. Press DISPLAY the fifth time to exit.

When playing an audio CD, the DISPLAY Banner appears automatically. It displays the current track and the amount of time for that track playing, the total amount of time on the disc and the current time running on the disc. Press the DISPLAY button on the remote to display the DISPLAY Banner. The options below show you what happens when you press the DISPLAY button.

  1. During playback press DISPLAY once and SINGLE ELAPSED will appear along with the current track playing and the time of that track.
  2. Press DISPLAY twice and SINGLE REMAIN appears along with the current track playing and the amount of time left.
  3. Press DISPLAY three times and TOTAL ELAPSED appears along with the current track playing and the total time that the CD has been playing.
  4. Press DISPLAY four time and TOTAL REMAIN appears along with the current track playing and the amount of time remaining on the CD.
  5. Press DISPLAY a fifth time and DISPLAY OFF will appear momentarily then disappear. The CD time information will not be displayed.
How do I change the Angle on my AVD300 DVD Player?
  1. During playback of a disc, press ANGLE to display the available angles for discs containing multi-angles*, with the current angle number and the total number of angles displaying.
  2. Press ANGLE to select another angle, then press again to exit and return to the normal viewing angle.
  3. The Angle display will disappear automatically if the ANGLE button is not pressed again within 3 seconds.

(*NOTE: Not all discs contain this feature.)
