The system will not start the vehicle if any of the following situations exists:

| Safety Control Switch: |
The control switch allows you to temporarily disable the remote starting function of the system and moving this switch to the off position is recommended whenever the vehicle is being serviced. When the system is disabled, the remote door locks and optional accessories will remain operational. The control switch also allows you to select between 2 and 4 hour start up when using the automatic start up timer mode. The factory preset start up time for this mode is every 4 hours. To select between 2 and 4 hour start up timer:

| Additional Remote Function (Channel 2): |
This system has an additional feature that can be connected to a number of different optional accessories. Some of the more common uses for this channel are:
To activate the optional accessory, press and hold the transmitter's button 2 for 4 seconds. Note: This feature has been added to channel 2 will always be activated using the same transmitter button that remotely starts the vehicle. There is no way to move the channel 2 function to a different transmitter button. |

| Operating on Automatic Start Up Timer Mode: |
The system has the ability to start the vehicle every 2 or 4 hours over a 48 hour period. To start the timer:
