- Insert a disc with the label side facing up.
- Check the type of disc you put into disc tray. This DVD only plays DVDs, audio CDs and MP3s.
- Both the unit and the disc are coded by region. If the regional codes don't match, the disc can't be played.
(NOTE: This DVD player is set to Region Number 1)

- Turn the player OFF and then back ON.
- If the player still does not respond, press the reset button.

- Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ACC/ssory position.
- If the player is still not working, then condensation may have formed in the DVD player, please allow the player time to dry out (about one hour).

- The disc may be dirty or scratched. Try cleaning or replacing the disc.
(NOTE: It is normal for some distortion to appear during forward and reverse scan)

- Verify the system is in the correct video mode.
- Check that the power wire is connected properly.
- Check the fuse - if blown please replace it.

You cannot advance through the opening credits and warning information that appears at the beginning of many movies because the disc is programmed to prohibit that action by the distributor.

Why is the picture on the LCD screen of my VOD10 mobile DVD player dark? |
- The equipment may be located in a low temperature area. If this is the case, the LCD display will restore to normal brightness after playing for a few minutes.
- You may also need to adjust the Brightness setting, as it could be set too low.

Why does my IR remote not work on my VOD10 Mobile DVD Player? |
- Verify that the batteries in the remote are fresh.
- Verify that the remote sensor eye is not obstructed.
- If monitor is set to M1, press M1 button on remote
- If monitor is set to M2, press M2 on remote.

Why is there no sound or distorted sound from my VOD10 mobile DVD player? |
- Make sure your DVD is connected properly.
- Make sure all cables are securely
inserted into the appropriate jacks.
- If you are using the 2-channel IR headphones, make sure you turn on the IR headphone power, make sure the correct channel (A-B) is selected.
- Make sure the Modulator is ON and the proper Frequency has been selected on
the DVD player and car radio.
- Make sure that unit is set to M1 when using Single Channel Headphones.

- Be sure the disc is clean before inserting it in the DVD Player.

- Verify that the source is on and playing a known good media (such as a DVD).

- There could be interference caused by nearby external strong signal. (i.e. high voltage wire, transformer station, aircraft, etc.) To get better signal reception, you will need to move away from the interference.

- Verify +12 VDC on the Red wire at 2 pin Power Harness behind video monitor.
- Verify ground connection with continuity test from known good ground to black wire at 2 pin Power Harness.

- Verify that the headphones are turned on.
- Consider replacing the batteries to the headphones if they are old or weak.
- Make sure the FM modulator and the vehicle radio are set to the same FM station.
- Verify that the volume is turned up if you are using wired headphones.

Why can I not fast forward or reverse scan on my VOD10 Mobil DVD Player? |
- Some discs have sections that prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter skip.
- If you try to skip through the warning information and credits at the beginning of a movie, you won't be able to. This part of the movie is often programmed to prohibit this action.

The feature or action may not be completed at this time because of one of the following reasons:
- The disc's software restricts it
- The disc's software doesn't support the feature (i.e. angles)
- The feature is not available at the moment
- You have requested a title or chapter number that is out of range

Why do I hear static or have poor sound quality on my VOD10 mobile DVD player? |
In certain areas where there are a large number of FM radio stations (i.e. large cities, urban areas), the reception of the FM signal from the overhead pod may not be satisfactory, resulting in static, distorted sound or signal bleed through from strong local radio stations. This is not a defect in the product, but the result of a stronger local radio station overpowering the wireless FM transmitter in your overhead pod. |
